Thanks for all your efforts, it was a brilliant day, and a far better venue,
both location wise and accommodation wise. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and was
over all too soon, where does the time go, even though it ran over by an
hour!!!
Love to all,
Jean.

Hello Chris,
thinking of coming down to the Beatles day tomorrow but can't get till 1ish. Will I miss the live music coming at that time? Do you know when everyone is playing?

Hello Chris,
Just wanted to say thanks for the Beatles day yesterday, me and my son George had a great time. He was well impressed with Rubber Soul's version of "Sgt Pepper" and his purchase of a Yellow Submarine badge, which he is proudly wearing at school today. Not to mention winning 3 selection boxes in the tombola :-)
I enjoyed the music too and was pleased to pick up a DVD with the Colour abbey rd clips for Paperback Writer & Rain, wanted those for a while. Also amazed to bump into my old friend Nina Douglas who I haven't seen for 15 years.
It was the first of your beatle fairs that I've been to, I didn't realise there was one in Nottm. I shall certainly be attending again.
If you'd like me to come and play some music next year I'd be happy to volunteer. I already play 1/2 a dozen Beatle songs when I play covers gigs anyway (Blackbird, Norwegian Wood, Here Comes the sun etc) so it'd be no problem. I may even be able to get my band mates to come along and do some 3 part harmonies.

all the best and thanks again
Richard Snow

Reply; you are booked!! thanks, Chris

Hi Chris,

Many thanks for the link to your new site. I must say it is very
user-friendly, so many congratulations. As you know Barbara and I usually
attend the Nottingham Beatles' Day, but unfortunately circumstances
prevented us attending in Dec 2005. Although Nottingham is one heck of a
journey for the day, coming from Hertfordshire, it's worth the effort as we
really do enjoy this event and meeting up with the many friends we have made
over the years, not to mention all things Beatle, and the guests and live
music.

Anybody considering attending this year's event, should stop considering and
just do it! You will not be disappointed. A lot of effort is put into this
day and it deserves to be a continued success.

Looking forward to this year's event.
Wishing you the best of luck Chris,
Jean.

Chris,

This is a great site - I've forwarded to 3 friends already though I haven't read all of it myself yet.

I have, of course, read the report on last year's day and many thanks for your kind words on the Beat Boys - they'll be well pleased.

Keep in touch, Tony.
