Hi,
What can I say?
let's start with a big THANKS to all of you who came along to the best
Beatle Fair in years!
Attendance was up by FIFTY PERCENT!!
Talking of which I must apologise for two of the dealers who didn't turn
up without notifying me, anyway it was certainly their loss as our other
faithful dealers will testify.
What about the music!! Faithful RUBBER SOUL with yet another fine
performance, MARK JAMES with a sore throat but still giving a great
show, and the BEATLES EXPERIENCE what can I say about them? words
won't do them justice, they were BRILLIANT they are such an entertaining
bunch of lads. They went into overtime at the end extending the Fair by
an hour with the crowd of 100+ enjoying every second and insisting on
two encores.
I am pleased to say that the CHARITY RAFFLE Supported once again by our great friends THE BOOTLEG BEATLES has raised £200. George and Kath Gunby donated many of the prizes and BEATLES EXPERIENCE generously donated around half of their expenses. The £200 raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Carers, Thank You
The Venue, THE
NOVOTEL did us proud. The enthusiasm shown by the hotel management
and staff was infectious, a huge THANKS to them all. The rooms were perfect,
with our own dedicated bar area, reasonably priced bar snacks, and meals
available too.
The Live Music
area was set of by Beatles Experience magnificent stage backdrop of The
Cavern.
It was just a great day and I can't wait for next year!!
